Biography

Oliver trained at the Bristol Old Vic Theatre School. His theatre work includes playing Dave Davis in the Kinks musical Sunny Afternoon in the West End, Anthony and Cleopatra (Chichester Festival Theatre) Romeo and Juliet (Shakespeare at The Tobacco Factory) and Platonov (Arcola). TV credits include The Sixth Commandment, People Just Do Nothing, Thanks for the Memories and Casualty (BBC). He is a singer/songwriter and performs with his band Oliver Hoare and the Late Great. As composer his work includes the music for the film Sink and the TV mini series Thanks For The Memories. He is the co-Founder of Neon Candle Theatre and was the composer and MD for their debut show, Dance to the Bone, performed at the Sherman Theatre in Spring 2022.
